Memory Care

Memory Care is defined as…

A Person who is dependent on others for care and to oversee their personal safety. This may include exit doors that are alarmed and/ or locked. He/She will require assistance with two or more ADLs (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring/walking). He/She requires staff assistance and supplies to manage incontinence of bladder and/or bowel. They may require frequent redirection and/or intervention (hands on or limited 1:1 assistance) by staff due to ongoing confusion, disorientation, anxiety, agitation, refusal of care, refusal of medications, sun downing, exit seeking and other disruptive/repetitive behaviors.
